The symptoms of sugar diabetes give us a warning that there is
something wrong with our bodies. We need to take care of this, and
take very seriously, otherwise we risk poisoning from inside. In this
disease, the extra sugar in our blood can kill our organs, and since
the blood travels all around the body, the impact of the disease can
be quite devastating.
The symptoms of sugar diabetes, when recognized, must be
immediately acted on or we will risk seriously poisoning our entire
body. Extra sugar in our blood stream can kill our organs, especially
the lungs and the kidneys, and when you consider that the blood
courses through the entire body, you can realize the enormous harm a
high level of blood sugar can do.
When the onset of symptoms of diabetes starts to show, the worst
thing that a person can do is to ignore those symptoms. A large number
of diabetes patients lose their lives when they do not have to, and
acting fast to diagnose the symptoms and start treatment may save your
life.
There are two types of diabetes, type 1 and also type 2
diabetes. In type 1 diabetes, the usual symptoms seen are unusual
thirst, frequent urination, drastic weight loss, irritability,
heightened fatigue, and extreme hunger. In type 2 diabetes a person
may have the previously mentioned symptoms, and in addition infections
of the bladder and gum, numbness and tingling of the feet and hands,
slow healing of cuts and bruises, constant infections and blurred
vision. It is also possible for a person suffering type 2 diabetes to
not have any symptoms at all.
When too much glucose is present in the blood stream on a constant
basis, diabetes will result, and this can be the cause of serious
health conditions. The pancreas organ is responsible for producing the
insulin hormone that breaks down sugar in the blood, which allows it
to be absorbed into the body's tissues. When that breakdown does not
happen, a condition, known as hyperglycemia will result. This
condition results in type 1diabetes.
In type 2 diabetes, the body is actually resisting the
insulin. Here the body's cells are unable to utilize glucose and the
situation is made worse when an insufficient amount of insulin is
produced. A well balanced diet and regular exercise will to prevent
the occurrence of type2 diabetes.
Damage to the body will happen when too much glucose remains in the
blood. Stroke and heart attacks will occur from damaged blood vessels,
and if a person has diabetes, he is more likely to suffer and die from
these two conditions than someone who does not.
